The Damascus Ramble
Thursday, July 30 · Departing the Speckled Trout Annex
For one day, our family is bringing the trolley to Damascus. Join us for a 20 minute ramble through the countryside, with Appalachian history and folklore around every bend and mountain views the whole way.
And true to our word, no two rides are ever the same. Catch the 10 o'clock, fall in love, and the 2 o'clock will have new stories waiting.
Fewer than 80 seats all day. When they're gone, they're gone.

A hometown labor of love
We're a family, born and raised right here in Abingdon, with a deep love for the stories of our little corner of Appalachia. When we found our trolley, it was a world away and in rough shape, retired at the Port Huron Museum up in Michigan. We saw something worth saving.
So we brought it home. We spent a whole summer bringing the old trolley back to life, piece by piece, until it was ready to roll through the streets we grew up on. Today it carries our neighbors and visitors alike on a journey through Abingdon's history, right where it belongs.
We'd be honored to share our town, and our trolley, with you.
