At Experience Appalachia, we craft each piece of swag with the soul of the mountains in mind—because once you slip into an Appalachia Soul Hoodie or tee home, it's meant to carry stories for the long haul. That said, we get it: fits don't always align, or life's twists call for a swap. Our policy is simple, fair, and rooted in Appalachian hospitality—returns come back to us for inspection, so we can keep the circle of stories going.

Eligibility & Timeline

  • 30-Day Window: We accept returns on unworn, unwashed items with original tags and packaging intact, postmarked within 30 days of delivery. (Pro tip: Snap a quick photo of the tags before you love it too much.)

  • What Qualifies: Defects in printing, stitching, or materials (e.g., fading after one gentle wash). Size swaps? We'll do our best if it's the same style in a different size.

  • No-Returns Zone: Personalized items (e.g., custom embroidery beyond our standard designs), undergarments, hygiene-sealed products, or anything that's been washed/worn. Sale items are final sale—mountains don't do markdowns.

How to Return

  1. Reach Out: Email us at info@appalachia.love with your order number, item details, and a note on why it's heading back (plus photos if it's a quality hiccup). We'll send a prepaid USPS label within 48 hours—no cost to you.

  2. Pack It Up: Ship it back to Experience Appalachia, 18069 Wyndale Road, Abingdon, VA 24210. We'll inspect upon arrival (usually 3-5 days).

  3. Refund or Exchange: Once approved, expect your refund (minus 10% restocking fee) to your original payment method in 5-7 business days. Prefer an exchange? We'll cover return shipping and rush your new piece free.
